TML GOG Patcher provides a simple cross-platform method for applying tModLoader (TML) patches to good old games (GOG) version of Terraria.
This application provides an easy way to install the client and server patches and the required dependency files to allow those who own the GOG version of Terraria to create and use tModLoader mods.
Process: Enter or browse to the directory containing the Terraria.exe and TerrariaServer.exe files, select the options you want, click the Install button and wait for the installation process to complete. Actions taken during installation are displayed in a text box at the bottom of the application, and are also recorded in a log file, which can be accessed using the View Log button in the upper left corner.
In addition, several buttons are provided in the upper right corner that provide quick access to the various functions of the TMLGOGPatcher, Terraria and tModLoader folders (for example, patches, mods, players, and worlds) and web pages, as well as statements about a dialog that contains information about the application and the licenses associated with it, and the libraries and assets that it uses. In addition, next to the View Log button, there is a Patch Tools dropdown menu that allows the user to download GOG Patch TML files. Finally, on Windows, there are two buttons next to the Patch Tools menu that will allow the user to launch Terraria (from an unpatched client file or client backup file) and tModLoader (either from an applied client patch file or a client-generated TML file).
