If you like mod Calamity then without a doubt you should install this texture pack. After all, the authors of this pack have improved the vanilla textures so that they match the quality and style of the Calamity fashion. This is an independent Texture Pack, so you can only install it and play with the new textures without the Calamity mod.

The archive contains two versions of textures for Terraria 1.4 and for tModLoader.
Installing the texture pack in Terraria 1.4:
Transfer the archive from the Terraia 1.4 folder to
Documents \ My Games \ Terraria \ ResourcePacks
Once in Terraria, click on Texture Packs, and then on this button:
If the texture does not work, extract it from the archive in Documents \ My Games \ Terraria \ ResourcePacks.
Setting texture in tModLoader
I have a steam version of tModLoader so I will show it using this version as an example. Launch tModLoader, go to Settings> tModLoader Settings and enable experimental features.
Next, in the downloaded archive go to the folder tModLoader, and transfer the TexturePack.zip archive to:
Documents \ My Games \ Terraria \ ModLoader \ TexturePacks
Then you can run tModLoader and play Terraria with new textures.
What to do if there is no button: experimental functions?
Most likely you have a newer version of tlmodloader than I had when I published this texture pack. Therefore, you do not have experimental features, just try to unzip the archive in C:\Users\username here\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader-preview\ResourcePacks
