According to the official tweet, the developers are working on professional translations of Terraria into other languages, namely Russian, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Simplified Chinese.
Cenx also revealed that they already have a studio doing this, so player suggestions don't make sense.
