This time the place of action will be Egypt, where your adventures will take place deep underground. During your exploration, you will visit mines, caves and tombs, and, by itself, a pyramid or even two. Your goal is to get to the tomb of the ancient Egyptian Sun God Ra and get his treasures! But it will not be an easy task, you will not only have to solve riddles and avoid traps, but also face the dead minions of the ancient god.
Installation:
1. Copy the Pryramid_Adventure_2.wld file (to the “Worlds” folder) to the folder: My games \ Terraria \ Worlds (for Windows 7).
2. Make a backup of the Pyramid_Adventure_2.wld file. You will need to restore it when you exit and save.
3. Copy the Indiana_Bones.plr file (to the “Players” folder) to the folder: My Games \ Terraria \ Players (Windows 7)
4. Make a backup of the Indiana_Bones.plr file. You will need to restore it when you exit and save.
5. Back up the following files in the SteamApps \ common \ Terraria \ Content \ Images folder:
- Tiles_42.xnb
- Tiles_79.xnb
- Tiles_87.xnb
- Tiles_89.xnb
- Tiles_92.xnb
- Tiles_132.xnb
- Tiles_135.xnb
- Tiles_141.xnb
- Tiles_145.xnb
6. Copy all .XNB files of this map to the SteamApps \ common \ Terraria \ Content \ Images folder, overwriting the old files.
These new XNB files replace some of the textures and sprites in the game.
When you're done playing Pyramid Adventure II, restore any replaced files from your backups.
These new graphic files are essential for the correct functioning of this card!
Beginning of the game:
1. Start Terraria.
2. Go to settings and turn off the card.
3. Also enable AutoPause and disable AutoSave.
4. In the Video settings, select Colored lighting.
5. It is recommended to set the screen resolution to 1024 × 768, since it is optimal for the given map; other resolutions may spoil the experience of the adventure.
6. Full Screen Mode is highly recommended.
7. Select Single Player, then select the character “Indiana Bones”.
8. From the list of worlds, select Pyramid Adventure 2.
9. When the game starts, be sure to read the introductory information.
10. Enjoy the thrilling adventure!
Tips:
1. Use sarcophagi when you find them. They will be your spawn point if you die.
2. In some cases, you can get stuck after death. If this happens, then you need to exit and restore the .wld and .plr files from the backups.
3. Carefully inspect your surroundings and search ALL barrels and chests along the way. they may contain items necessary for passing.
4. You will be able to use some building blocks. Remember that since you don't have a pickaxe, you won't be able to remove and pick them up again, so use them wisely.
5. Signs containing hints are scattered around the map.
6. If you want to save the game and play later, it is best to do this after using the last spawn point. But be careful, as all current potion and buff effects will expire after loading the save
7. After death, you leave the tombstone. Sometimes these plates can be picked up, but since they are not needed in your adventure, then you can safely throw them away. Also, you do not need loot from monsters, but if a gel falls out of them, then you can use it to craft torches.
8. Indiana Bones has a golden sword as a weapon, two torches, some seeds (ammo) and is equipped with fins. At the start, he has no mana at all.
9. Your task is to enter the tomb of Ra, defeat the boss in battle, pick up the treasures and get out to the surface.
10. The most difficult test will be passing the map without a single death!
11. There is a secret area on the map that can be opened with a secret switch.
12. It is recommended that you turn off all additional music while playing Pyramid Adventure II.
Craft:
You only need to craft TWO things - a bottle of water and a Speleologist's potion. Don't craft anything else as you will need these items to solve puzzles. Ingredients can be used to make 2 different potions. In the area of the map where you will craft them, read the sign, you will only need to make the Speleologist's potion.
