I decided to create this news, since many are trying to create articles that are not formatted according to the rules of the wiki:
Unregistered participants (IP-participants) will receive 3-day ban for creating pages not according to the rules of article formatting.
Registered participants will receive for the first time warning, in the second - 3-day ban.
Vandals will receive unlimited ban (+ impossibility of registering this or other participants and creating articles from this IP address).
Also, before creating an article, you should familiarize yourself with the Wiki rules, with the help page, and with editing help.
Now the guide itself:
In order to create a simple article about a subject, you don't need to know much about a wiki. It is enough (as an option) to copy and paste another article on the Wiki and modify it properly, or create from scratch. In this guide, I will talk about creating an article about Fairy in a bottle.
1. First you need to enter the title of a particular article in the search and click on the button "Go".
2. If there is no such page, then you will immediately proceed to editing this article (If the title of the article is similar or you want to create an article whose title is exactly the same, then you need to sign some definition in brackets to the title of the future article. For example, “Article title (Retribution of the Darkness)" or "Article title (subject)”(In the second case, if the two articles can be divided into“ item ”and“ NPC. ”See Goldfish and Goldfish (item)). So, on the screen you will see the inscription Editing: Fairy in a Bottle and an empty field for entering text.
3. Next, we move on to creating the article itself. Since this article is about fashion Retribution of the Darkness, then first you need to add a template {{RotD}}... If the text of the article turned out to be small, then it is also worth adding the {{stub}} template (draft). Yes, and do not forget to view your creation (before writing a future article) with the button every time you edit "Preview" below, under the text input field.
4. After that, you should add another template, which is located under the spoiler, but you will not need all of it:

| type = Defines the type of item (accessory, armor, weapon, etc.)
| type2 = If the item has one more type, then you can enter (if not, then the line is omitted)

| defense = Basic defense against any item or armor
| bonus = Bonus given by any item
| pick = Item power (pick, drill, hammer, ax)
| knockback = Knockback (weapon kickback)
| placeable = Placement (about furniture or object, if placed, then write “Yes”, otherwise “No”)
| stack = Stack (stack per cell, max.amount of the same item in one cell)
| mana = The amount of mana consumed by a weapon or item
| mregen = How much mana the item saves, (Jungle Armor, for example)
| mheal = How much mana an item consumes
| lregen = How much health an item heals
| tooltip = Tooltip displayed in the game
| sspeed = Weapon Shot Speed
| rare = Rarity of the item (values from 0 to 6, more details here
| accessory = Accessory (Yes or No)
| body slot = Slot containing clothing / armor (Head, Torso, Legs)
| use = The time it takes for the item to perform one action (e.g. swing a pickaxe)
| tool = A tool that can destroy a placeable item
| buy = Item cost from seller
| sell = Cost of the item when sold to the seller
| id = Item ID (items from the mod are always -1)

You may have noticed that an image has already been added to the template (it has already been uploaded to the site).
4.2. To do this, in the panel on the left you need to select "Upload file" (it is advisable to open it in a new tab so as not to knock your changes)
Then, in the “Source file” field, click “Select a file” and upload the file to the site (so that you do not enter the image = field in the {{item infobox}} template), it is better to upload files in png format.
Next, in the "Description of file" field, add the name.jpg
Then press the button "Upload file"
5. After the templates, let's move on to creating the text. Only the most important and interesting should be written in it. Guesses and false or unconfirmed information will be deleted. Follow the rules!
6. After the text, add the recipe for the subject, notes (if there is something interesting to write down) and the history of the subject and add a category.
