Mod TerraTemp v1.0.0.1 for Terraria

TerraTemp is a rather unusual and one might even say unique mod. It adds climate to the terraria and new mechanics like temperature. The author of the mod was not so confused and now the temperature is affected not only in which biome you are in, but also the time of day and even the amount of clouds.

What the TerraTemp mod adds

  • Temperature influenced by some factors (see Section "New Mechanics")
  • New Thermometer item that displays several different temperature-related statistics (Hint: you might want to do one of these as soon as possible!)
  • Brand new accessories that can change the temperature in your favor
  • Each set of armor and many accessories provide effects to combat the elements
  • Many changes to buffs and debuffs now affect temperature

New mechanics and changes

Climate: now each biome has a Climate attribute. While not terribly difficult, each major biome can range from minor temperature changes to deadly heat or cold!

Time day : While this is a vanilla quirk (obviously), the time of day can now affect the current temperature of the earth! The hottest day is at noon and the coldest day is at midnight.

Cloud cover: how many clouds are there in the sky? You must take a look! The more clouds in the sky, the less the sun's influence on the temperature rise.

Humidity: or rather, relative humidity! How much water vapor is currently in the air on a scale of 0 to 100%? The more humid the air, the hotter or colder it gets!

Wind speed: again, while this is a feature of vanilla, it doesn't really have much of an effect. But now wind speed can affect temperature too! If it's cold and windy, it will be damn colder, but if it's hotter and the wind is strong, it can even chill you a little!

(Planned) Impact of depth: it's not a function yet, but how far you are in the ground can further affect the temperature. The caves are colder in the ground, and this can be reflected in Terraria!

So what exactly happens when you get too hot or cold? Well, your body will slowly begin to deteriorate as it tries to fight extreme temperatures. In this mod, this "deterioration" is displayed as debuffs; you'll see their effects pretty quickly, including slow motion, reduced life regeneration, loss of vision, and finally, of course, death.

The idea for survival is very good, but I also advise you to add temperature to the water (so that you can cool down, or vice versa, warm up), and the effect of effects such as poison on the heat recovery time.
Thank you for the mod, very grateful, good luck in further development of the mod
